Rise and Fall: Satellites Reveal Full Length of Tsunami-Generating Earthquake

This week NASA’s Earth Observatory features the research of Cal Tech grad Aron Meltzner who used satellite images of coral reefs and coastlines that rose and sank to map the extent of the tsunami-generating earthquake the shook Indonesia in 2004.
